It is Easier to play Big Teams

Jose Mourinho says his Chelsea side will have no problems motivating themselves to face Manchester Cityin Sunday's Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium.

The Portuguese has seen his side win every Premier League game so far this season but the Blues drew with Schalke in midweek.

Nevertheless, Mourinho believes Chelsea have the ability to beat their Premier League title rivals, insisting they are confident in their own ability as they head into the clash with Manuel Pellegrini's side.

"It's always a good time to play against big teams because it makes my job easy," said the Portuguese.

"We respect City totally because they deserve it, but we believe in ourselves.

"The perfect situation is to score a lot of goals and not concede, and we have to chase that perfection."

Mourinho also confirmed that Diego Costa would start against the Premier League champions despite concerns over his fitness.

"Everybody is ready to play," he added. "Diego is not in the best condition but he will start. If he plays he won't play against Bolton."

Mourinho also believes his squad are well-equipped to continue their fine early-season form, having acted swiftly and decisively in the summer transfer window.

"I don't want to compare squads but ours is better than it was last season, we have more solutions," he said. "We have a good balance."
